Ron's
1963 Sport Fury

Here's the story from Ron:

It was a 383 car but I now have a 440 made to look like a 426 Max Wedge as I always wanted a Max Wedge car.  I plan to get the crossram later when I can afford it.

The 440 is a mild build thats .030 over with KB pistons and 10.0 comp using 906 heads, MP .557 cam with Holley Street Dominator and 850 DP.  Has a dynamic 9.5 convertor with 4.30's. 3" exh with Dyno Max Ultra Flow mufflers.

Car and body are all stock.  Car weighs 3640 with me in it.  I just got it done last Sept and had it to the track once.  They ran 1/8 times that day that came out to 11.66's @ 114.65 mph, with a 1.58 best 60 ft.

Update from Ron on 09/10/07:
I just wanted to let you know I went to Cecil last Saturday in that hot weather and finally ran my red 63 in the 1/4 mile. I ran 11.66 @ 114.65

Update from Ron on 11/26/07:
I went to Cecil this past Saturday. I ran 11.52 @ 116.84 and my son's Dart ran 11.45 @ 117.73.
